Daher Aircraft has delivered the first TBM 980 to a customer in Brazil, marking the introduction of its latest high-performance turboprop in one of the company’s key growth markets.
The aircraft was delivered to a Brazilian entrepreneur upgrading from a TBM 900. The customer selected the TBM 980 for its third-generation Garmin G3000 PRIME avionics, as well as its speed, efficiency and operational flexibility. The aircraft will support travel between multiple cattle ranches and farms across Brazil, including operations from semi-prepared airstrips.
Brazil is a strategic market for Daher, which offers the six-seat, pressurised TBM 980 and TBM 960 alongside the 10-seat Kodiak 100 and Kodiak 900 utility aircraft. The country’s vast geography and strong agribusiness, construction and mining sectors are driving demand for efficient regional air transport.
To strengthen its local presence, Daher established Daher Aircraft Brasil in São Paulo last October, expanding customer support and technical services. Since then, the company has sold five TBM 980s and one TBM 960 in Brazil, signalling growing demand for its turboprop aircraft.
