GetJet Group’s Airhub Aviation (Airhub) secured a site at Vilnius International Airport to expand its aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) operations.

The company won the right to lease an 11,200 m² plot for 40 years through a land lease auction organised by Lithuanian Airports. Airhub plans to invest about €25 million to build an MRO hangar, which is expected to create more than 100 jobs once operational.

The new facility forms part of GetJet Group’s strategy to expand its in-house MRO capabilities, aiming to strengthen technical independence, improve operational flexibility and broaden services for airline customers.

The site is adjacent to a 4,700 m² plot that GetJet Group previously secured under a long-term lease. The group is investing about €10 million between 2025 and 2029 to construct another hangar at that location. (€1.00 = US$1.15 at time of publication).
