King Aerospace has appointed aviation industry veteran Sam Jackson as Chief Operating Officer (COO).
In his new role, Jackson will oversee operations across the company’s multiple sites, aligning its operational activities with its strategic objectives and supporting growth in the government, military and corporate aviation markets.
Jackson brings more than 20 years of aviation leadership experience, with a background spanning maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO), operational performance and financial management.
He joins King Aerospace from Airborne Maintenance & Engineering Services, where he served as general manager and vice president of operations, overseeing around 800 employees across maintenance, engineering, materials and quality functions.
Jackson previously held the position of vice president of maintenance at Flightstar Aircraft Services and was director of maintenance at HAECO Americas.
King Aerospace provides aircraft modification and maintenance support for corporate, VVIP, government, military and special missions operators.
