stratosX, a technology company developing AI-enabled airline orchestration systems, has announced that Air Transat has deployed X360, its decision-support platform designed to strengthen airline response to irregular operations (IROPS), including flight delays, cancellations and schedule changes.
The deployment makes Air Transat, a leading leisure airline, stratosX’s launch airline customer. X360 has been integrated into the carrier’s operations centre to improve recovery speed, cross-team visibility and decision consistency during disruption events.
When disruptions occur, airline operations teams must quickly assess aircraft availability, crew eligibility and passenger impacts to determine the best path to recovery.
X360 is designed to build on the expertise of airline operations teams by rapidly assembling a clear, structured operational picture. This allows teams to evaluate recovery scenarios in real time, prioritising passenger impact while balancing aircraft and crew constraints.
The platform consolidates operational data into a single view, giving teams a shared picture across departments and shifts during disruption events. It is designed to help airlines identify emerging network pressure and high-risk periods earlier, compare recovery scenarios based on passenger impact, time and cost, and track recovery outcomes through clear KPIs to support continuous improvement.
“We built X360 to help airlines turn disruption recovery into a structured, repeatable process rather than a reactive one,” said Ghislain Gagné, CEO of stratosX. “Working with Air Transat’s operations team to bring this platform into a live airline environment is a significant milestone in this partnership, and we look forward to demonstrating measurable results together.”
