Türkiye-based flight simulator manufacturer HAVELSAN is experiencing growing international demand for its Airbus A320-family training solutions, with orders for six additional devices complementing the five Airbus A320 full-flight simulators (FFS) already in service.
All HAVELSAN-manufactured A320 full-flight simulators currently in service have received European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) qualification. Several airlines and training centres are also evaluating the devices, including through assessment flights designed to examine the handling characteristics, fidelity and training capabilities of the company’s Airbus A320-family simulators.
The Airbus A320-family devices are part of HAVELSAN’s STARLINE full-flight simulator portfolio and are backed by the company’s engineering, maintenance and after-sales services. HAVELSAN is focused on establishing long-term partnerships with airlines and training organisations that extend beyond the initial delivery, offering lifecycle support, maintenance, upgrades and flexible financing options.
In March 2026, HAVELSAN began construction of a new 17,000-square-metre Simulator Production and Integration Facility in Ankara. Due to become operational in 2027, the site will enable the company to manufacture more than 30 simulators a year and develop and integrate up to 16 devices simultaneously.
Together with HAVELSAN’s existing facilities in Ankara, the new site will give the company capacity to handle up to 40 commercial and military simulators at various stages of development, production and integration.
