Melbourne-based logistics and supply chain group Linfox Group (Linfox) has taken delivery of Australia’s first Airbus H160 helicopter, marking a milestone for next-generation rotorcraft in the region.
The delivery makes Linfox the first Australian operator to place the twin-engine H160 into service. The aircraft will support the group’s business and corporate aviation operations, connecting its activities across Australia’s diverse geography, from major urban centres to regional destinations.
Certified to carry up to 12 passengers, the H160 has been configured by Linfox Aviation for eight passengers. The layout is designed to maximise the experience of the helicopter’s large windows, spacious cabin and advanced onboard technology.

The aircraft was prepared for local entry into service by Pacific Crown Helicopters (PCH), a Part 145-certified maintenance organisation and long-standing Airbus Helicopters partner. PCH will provide ongoing support in line with international airworthiness standards.
Designed as a multi-role platform, the H160 can perform missions ranging from search and rescue, homeland security, law enforcement and emergency medical services to military operations, offshore transport and private and business aviation.
With its entry into Linfox’s fleet, the H160 makes its Australian operational debut as Airbus Helicopters targets growing demand for advanced rotorcraft across the region.
