Aircraft leasing and asset management company Altavair is reshuffling its senior leadership, with CEO Steve Rimmer set to become Executive Chairman from January 1, 2027.
Matt Hoesley, who joined Altavair in 2005, will succeed Rimmer as CEO and President. Dimitrios Kotinis will become Chief Commercial Officer, overseeing marketing, trading, pricing, risk and capital markets.
Rimmer founded Altavair in 2003 and has led its expansion from an aviation investment business into a global aircraft leasing, financing and asset management platform. He will remain involved in strategic leadership, customer and investor relationships and work with the board and shareholders.
Hoesley has spent more than two decades at Altavair, helping build its commercial operations and serving customers, investors and business partners.
Kotinis joined Altavair in 2020 and has held a key role in developing its investment platform. In his new position, he will oversee the company’s commercial and capital-markets activities while contributing to its broader strategy.
