GA Telesis has acquired three additional Airbus A320neo airframes equipped with LEAP-1A engines, further strengthening its position in the next-generation aviation aftermarket. With two more A320neo aircraft expected to join its portfolio by the end of 2026, the company is on course to add a total of five aircraft this year.
GA Telesis is expanding its next-generation aftermarket capabilities ahead of the traditional aircraft retirement cycle to meet growing demand for serviceable components amid ongoing supply chain constraints, longer maintenance turnaround times and an expanding global A320neo fleet.
The newly acquired aircraft are among the earliest A320neo airframes to enter the dismantling market, providing access to high-demand components, including LEAP-1A engine nacelles and landing gear.
“GA Telesis has never built its aftermarket strategy around waiting for aircraft to retire,” said Jim Sokol, President of GA Telesis’ Flight Solutions Group. “We identify where the market is going and invest ahead of the demand curve. With five A320neo aircraft being added to our (existing) neo portfolio this year, we are creating access to next-generation material well before the traditional retirement cycle would otherwise make it available. Our customers need solutions today, not ten years from now.”
