Boeing and Etihad Engineering have renewed their Tailored Parts Package agreement, extending a long-term arrangement designed to improve supply chain predictability and operational efficiency.

The renewed agreement shifts responsibility for parts procurement and inventory management to Boeing, allowing Etihad Engineering to focus on its maintenance operations while benefiting from a more predictable supply of components.

Under Boeing’s Tailored Parts Package programme, customers commit to purchasing an agreed range of parts over a specified contract period, while Boeing manages supply chain execution.

The arrangement is designed to simplify procurement and inventory management, while providing greater pricing certainty and helping customers forecast expenditure and plan resources more effectively.
