Setna iO has acquired four Airbus A320-200 airframes previously operated by Spirit Airlines. All four aircraft are scheduled for disassembly in Goodyear, Arizona.
The aircraft, manufactured in 2010, are equipped with upgraded internal rotables and flight control surfaces. Recovered components will be distributed through Setna iO’s integrated network as used serviceable material (USM), supporting A320-family operators, lessors and maintenance, repair and overhaul providers worldwide.
“Four airframes with this level of upgraded material add real depth to our A320 inventory,” said Hunter Edens, partner and Chief Commercial Officer at Setna iO.
The acquisition strengthens the company’s ability to meet customer demand for A320 components globally, he added.
