Vertis Aviation adds Africa’s second Challenger 350 to South African portfolio.

Switzerland-based Vertis Aviation has added a Bombardier Challenger 350 to its South African portfolio. The brand new aircraft, which is only the second of its type to be delivered to the continent, is based in Johannesburg, South Africa at OR Tambo International Airport. It joined the portfolio in June 2016 when it was delivered to Fireblade Aviation, a South African-based charter operator and FBO provider. With a potential range of 3200nm the super-midsized aircraft is ideally placed to meet the growing demand for transcontinental African travel. It is anticipated that the Challenger 350 will prove popular not only with leisure customers, but with international business travellers needing to benefit from convenient and easy access to meetings and roadshows across the continent.
