Hawker Pacific NZ achieves SMS certification

Hawker Pacific NZ (HPNZ) has achieved a notable milestone in becoming the first aviation company in New Zealand to be certified by the Civil Aviation Authority of New Zealand (CAA) under Civil Aviation Rule (CAR) Part 100. Hawker Pacific NZ was also the first company to achieve Part 147 certification (Maintenance Training) in-country, continuing to lead the way in Aviation Safety. CAA has recently implemented Rule Part 100 which requires organisations holding operational certificates to implement and become certificated as having a Safety Management System (SMS) in place.
