Rolls-Royce appoints Simon Kirby as Chief Operating Officer

Rolls-Royce announced that Simon Kirby has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer (COO). Simon will join Rolls-Royce in the coming months, reporting to Chief Executive Warren East. We previously announced that we would be appointing a COO in 2016 and began the search earlier this year. The new position has been created to drive operational and financial performance across the business and to take responsibility for delivering the Group-wide transformation agenda.
