AWAS to place Boeing 737-800 with Ukraine International Airlines

AWAS has completed a lease agreement with Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) for a Boeing 737-800 aircraft. The aircraft comes from AWAS’ existing fleet and is expected to deliver to the airline in Q1 2018. The addition of this Boeing NG aircraft will support the airline’s 2018 fleet strategy as it looks to expand operations in Europe and the Middle-East. UIA currently operates 42 aircraft including 25 Boeing 737-800/900ER NG airplanes. UIA also operates medium-haul Еmbraer-190 and long-haul Boeing 767 airliners.
