Finnair Technical Services will perform so called tube strip modifications for Dutch airline Martinair. Finnair will remove cabin equipment and accessories from four Boeing MD-11 aircraft.
The modification project will commence in April and last till August, 2008. Finnair Technical Services has carried out base maintenance checks for Martinair MD-11 fleet since 2005.
Finnair Technical Services will provide maintenance support for MD-11 aircraft type even after Finnair has retired its Boeing MD-11 passenger aircraft fleet by spring 2010. In January Finnair Technical Services announced a significant agreement covering maintenance services for Aeroflot Cargo Boeing MD-11 aircraft until 2016.
