Czech Airlines has signed an agreement with Air India for the lease of an Airbus A310 aircraft and crew for another year. The airplane has operated out of Bombay Airport since last March, thus far flying on the Hong Kong and Kuala Lumpur routes. From May, it will be newly deployed on flights to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and Delhi and Hyderabad in India.
The agreement has been concluded for 12 months and for that period, Czech Airlines will provide Air India with the aircraft and a crew, comprising two pilots and a head cabin attendant, including insurance and technical maintenance. Due to technical requirements, the Czech crews will continue to be supplemented with local cabin attendants, who have undergone differences training at Czech Airlines, in line with Czech norms and the knowledge of the particular aircraft.
