UAL Corporation reports net profit

UAL Corporation reported a second quarter net loss of $323 million excluding non-cash, net mark-to-market hedge gains and certain accounting charges. The company reported a GAAP net profit of $28 million including these items. UAL announced an additional international capacity reduction of 7% for the last four months of 2009.
