Direct Maintenance opens its 6th wide body line maintenance station

Direct Maintenance has opened its 6th wide body line maintenance station, at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport, Ethiopia. As of August 5th the Addis Ababa (ADD) line station of Direct Maintenance has received UAE GCAA approval, in addition to being EASA Part-145 certified.

The station capability includes A330, A340-300, B747-400, B767-200/300, B777-200/300(LR/ER) plus B777-200LRF. Launch customer for Direct Maintenance in ADD is Emirates, operating into ADD from DXB with B777-300ER aircraft, equipped with GE90 engines.
