Lufthansa generates net profit of EUR 1.1 billion in 2010

The Lufthansa Group closed the 2010 financial year with revenue of EUR 27.3 billion (previous year: EUR 22.3 billion) according to preliminary figures. Despite adverse one-off factors the operating profit came to EUR 876 million (previous year: EUR 130 million). Net profit attributable to shareholders of Deutsche Lufthansa AG amounted to EUR 1.1 billion (previous year: EUR -34 million). This includes a positive non-recurring tax effect of around EUR 400 million.
