Cobham to provide avionics suite to new Skylander SK 105 aircraft

Cobham has been officially selected by GECI Aviation of Metz, France, to provide an integrated avionics suite for its new Sky Aircraft twin turboprop Skylander SK 105 commuter aircraft, due for certification and first delivery in 2013.The SK 105 flight deck will include Cobham’s large-format synthetic vision flight displays with advanced flight management capability, audio/radio management system, communication and navigation radios, and a digital autopilot with 3-D autoflight capability and automatic stall/overspeed protection.
