TACA Airlines selects Hamilton Sundstrand as maintenance provider for the APS2300 Auxiliary Power Unit

TACA Airlines has selected Hamilton Sundstrand Corporation for a long-term agreement to be the maintenance provider for the APS2300 Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) on its existing fleet of 12 Embraer 190 series aircraft. The APS2300 APU is currently on board more than 800 Embraer 170/190 aircraft around the world. Embraer introduced the 170/190 into service in 2004; today it is operated by more than 70 customers.
