AJW Group purchases Airbus A319 aircraft for teardown

AJW Group has purchased an Airbus A319 aircraft, MSN 2186, for teardown.  The ex–Air Malta aircraft which is 15 years old, is powered by CFMI CFM56-5B6/P engines and an APS3200 Auxiliary Power Unit. 

After teardown, the A319 components will be recertified at AJW Group’s maintenance hub in Montreal (AJW Technique), OEMs and other strategic vendors. The high-quality parts will be stored at AJW Group’s HQ in Sussex, U.K. and shipped to its strategic hubs around the world ready to support its airline customers’ extensive portfolio of A320 family aircraft.
