On July 20, 2022, AFG Aviation Ventures No. 1 (Ireland), a wholly owned subsidiary of Aircraft Finance Germany, has completed the acquisition of one Rolls-Royce RB211-535E4 engine, bearing ESN 31391, from a subsidiary of Florida-based Gryphon Aviation Leasing.
The engine is currently on its way to Budapest (Hungary) where it awaits installation on a Boeing 757-200F airframe.
