Coulson Aviation, a world leader in aerial firefighting, has received certification from the Administración Nacional de Aviación Civil (ANAC) of Argentina to perform aircraft maintenance on Argentinian-registered aircraft. Coulson is the only Canadian company to receive ANAC certification for the performance of specialised and non-specialised aircraft maintenance.
This certification bolsters support for the Coulson Aviation aircraft assets currently operating to support the aerial fire needs of Argentina and surrounding South American countries, ensuring quick response to large-scale wildfires.
The company currently operates a large fleet of Boeing 737, Lockheed C-130, Boeing CH-47D, Sikorsky S-61, and S-76 aircraft worldwide, and is the first and only company in the world to convert a Boeing 737 commercial airliner into a FireLiner™ air tanker.
