Aergo Capital Limited has successfully completed the purchase and lease-back of eight Boeing 737-800 aircraft to WestJet. This transaction marks Aergo’s first collaboration with WestJet, adding a Canadian carrier to its client portfolio. The addition of these eight aircraft further expands Aergo’s growing fleet, strengthening its presence in the aviation leasing market.
WestJet views this agreement as a significant step in advancing its growth strategy, leveraging strong financing partnerships. Both parties expressed satisfaction with the smooth execution of the deal and anticipate a continuing partnership.
Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP served as lead counsel to Aergo, while PK AirFinance acted as the sole lender for the transaction.
