CCC has announced a contract award from the United States Department of Defense (U.S. DoD) for pressure test adapters. The adapters, manufactured by Nav-Aids, will support U.S. Army maintenance crews working on Black Hawk helicopters.
These adapters will allow crews to safely connect test equipment, check for leaks, confirm pressure stability, and assess system health. Headquartered in Montreal, Quebec, Nav-Aids Ltd. is recognised worldwide as a leader in avionics testing equipment.
The company specialises in pitot-static test adapters and air data accessory kits, serving civil, corporate, military, and space applications. Its pressure test adapters ensure secure, leak-free connections between aircraft ports or probes and test equipment. This design guarantees accurate readings during maintenance or troubleshooting activities.
Nav-Aids currently offers more than 500 aircraft-specific adapters, either individually or as complete testing kits with all required components. In addition, the company provides technical support and after-sales service, reinforcing its position as a trusted aviation safety partner.
Through its free U.S. DoD Prime Contractor service, CCC helps Canadian firms like Nav-Aids deliver solutions to the U.S. military. Together, CCC and Nav-Aids are supplying the pressure test adapters to the U.S. Army Command.
This command oversees the Active Army, Army Reserve, and Army National Guard, while also supporting civil authorities during emergencies. For 2024, the U.S. Army budget reached US$185.5 billion, including US$15.77 billion for Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation.
