FL Technics, an aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) company, has strengthened its presence in Northern Europe. The company, part of Avia Solutions Group, has opened fourteen new line maintenance stations across Scandinavia in just six months. This rapid rollout creates a broad network that is fully prepared to support airlines throughout the region.
The stations are spread across Norway and Sweden. In Norway, they are located at Bodø, Ålesund, Harstad/Narvik, Kristiansand, Svalbard, Kirkenes and Alta. In Sweden, they include Luleå, Umeå, Malmö, Åre/Östersund, Skellefteå, Kiruna and Nyköping. The expansion ensures proximity to major hubs and regional airports, improving turnaround times and delivering reliable line maintenance where airlines need it most.
Alongside its permanent bases, FL Technics also offers flexible on-call stations. A recent case in Greenland highlighted this approach, when an airline required urgent support at Nuuk Airport, the Line Maintenance team acted quickly. Within two weeks, engineers were selected, equipment was secured, and full operations were established. This response showed the company’s agility and dedication to keeping clients’ aircraft in the air.
Nerijus Chormanskis, Head Commercial of Line Maintenance at FL Technics, described Scandinavia as a natural growth step. He noted the increasing demand for rapid, dependable maintenance across the region. In only half a year, the company has built a network that delivers world-class services exactly where clients need them.
This Scandinavian expansion forms part of FL Technics’ global growth strategy, by positioning itself close to its clients and responding swiftly to demand, the company ensures flexibility and resilience. With its expanded footprint, FL Technics continues to provide trusted technical expertise and dependable support for airlines worldwide.
