In December 2025, Wizz Air successfully acquired slots from TUI Airways at London Luton Airport. The transaction will allow Wizz Air UK, London’s low-cost airline, to base an additional Airbus A321neo at the airport, increasing the total number of aircraft stationed at Luton to 15.
As the largest operator at London Luton Airport, Wizz Air continues to expand alongside the local community, underlining its long-term commitment through enhanced connectivity, job creation and broader travel opportunities.
From summer 2026, Wizz Air will introduce six new routes from London Luton, connecting passengers to Yerevan, Alicante, Lyon, Corfu, Faro and Turin. The airline will operate five weekly flights to Alicante and four to Faro, further strengthening links to some of the UK’s most popular leisure destinations while offering greater flexibility and competitive fares.
The launch of services to Yerevan will establish direct, non-stop connectivity between the UK and Armenia for the first time, providing travellers with convenient access to the country’s vibrant capital. Corfu will become Wizz Air’s fifth Greek island destination from Luton, joining Chania, Rhodes, Mykonos and Zakynthos. In addition, the airline will expand its network with year-round services to Lyon and Turin, offering greater choice beyond the winter ski season.
