Aventure Aviation has appointed David Clark as Vice President, APAC, a newly created role aimed at accelerating growth across the company’s defence business in the Asia-Pacific region. The appointment reflects Aventure’s continued investment in defence programmes and its strategic focus on expanding its regional footprint.
In this role, Clark will be responsible for driving defence business development across APAC, strengthening regional partnerships and expanding customer relationships. He will also support the alignment of operational execution with long-term defence requirements, ensuring Aventure continues to deliver reliable, mission-critical solutions to its customers.

A senior defence aerospace executive, Clark has played a key role in supporting fleet sustainment, readiness and long-term lifecycle strategies for military operators. His experience working across diverse regional and regulatory environments positions him well to support defence customers as they respond to evolving operational and security demands.
Before transitioning to the commercial sector, Clark served for 21 years in the United States Navy, retiring as a Chief Petty Officer after a distinguished global career. He is a former P-3C Orion flight engineer and is widely recognised as an authority on P-3 operations and sustainment. Since leaving active service, he has advised several domestic and international operators, supporting fleet readiness and long-term sustainment planning.
