Azorra has completed the acquisition of 12 Airbus A220-300 aircraft from EGYPTAIR, marking a key milestone in the carrier’s fleet transformation programme.
The aircraft were purchased in February 2024 as part of EGYPTAIR’s strategic fleet renewal efforts. The twelfth and final aircraft has now been delivered to Breeze Airways.
Capt. Ahmed Adel, Chairman and CEO of EGYPTAIR Holding Company, said: “We are pleased to have successfully completed this transaction with Azorra, which formed an important part of our fleet transformation strategy. We appreciate the professionalism and collaboration demonstrated throughout the process and are confident the aircraft will continue to generate strong value in service.”
Following the delivery of the first aircraft from its order book in May 2024, Azorra now has 28 A220s in service globally, with a further 15 aircraft on order.
