Aero-Dienst GmbH, a wholly owned subsidiary of ADAC SE, will add a second Bombardier Challenger 650 aircraft to its fleet for dedicated medevac operations.
The aircraft will support ADAC’s global patient repatriation and air ambulance services, building on the established partnership between Bombardier Defense and Aero-Dienst/ADAC. The addition further reinforces their shared focus on high-quality medical transport missions.
The Challenger 605/650 platform has demonstrated dispatch reliability of more than 99.9%, making it a strong choice for air ambulance and medevac operations. The Challenger 650’s wide cabin and large passenger door allow efficient patient loading and can accommodate up to four stretchers, while providing a stable and comfortable environment for patients and medical crews.
With a range of around 4,000 nautical miles, or 7,408 kilometres, and strong short-field performance, the aircraft is well suited to demanding medical evacuation missions.
Bombardier Defense also maintains a long-standing presence in Germany, including decades of support for the Luftwaffe, which operates Global aircraft for medevac and head-of-state transport. Bombardier’s German footprint includes a service centre in Berlin, a parts distribution centre in Frankfurt and a supply chain of more than 150 German suppliers, including Rolls-Royce, Diehl and Lufthansa Technik.
