Jussi Siitonen will become the next Chief Financial Officer for Finnair, effective November 1, 2026.
Siitonen joins from Fiskars Group, where he served as CFO and deputy CEO. He has also been a member of Finnair’s Board of Directors since 2024 and stepped down from the board on July 24, ahead of taking up the executive role.
Chief Executive Turkka Kuusisto thanked outgoing CFO Pia Aaltonen-Forsell for her contribution and said Siitonen’s extensive leadership experience and knowledge of the airline’s strategy and industry would strengthen Finnair’s management team as it continues to execute its growth plans.
Siitonen said his priority as CFO would be to ensure the airline’s financial foundations support its long-term ambitions. He added that his experience on Finnair’s board had given him a strong understanding of the company’s strategy and operations.
