Batam Aero Technic (BAT) has officially received maintenance facility approval from South Korea’s Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT), marking another milestone in the company’s international expansion.
The approval follows a rigorous and comprehensive audit and authorises BAT to provide maintenance services for aircraft registered under South Korean MOLIT regulations. The certification further strengthens BAT’s position as a growing MRO provider in Southeast Asia and international markets.
Established to support Lion Group’s aircraft maintenance requirements, BAT is designed to serve high-frequency narrow-body operations, delivering efficient, consistent and reliable maintenance services.
