Acron Aviation Commercial Training Solutions (CTS) has expanded its partnership with ASL Airlines Australia under a preferred supplier agreement for Boeing 737 type-rating training until the end of 2028.
The multi-year agreement follows the successful delivery of Boeing 737 type-rating training for ASL Airlines Australia pilots at CTS’ London Training Centre during the first half of 2026. It also covers pilots who need to complete Airline Pilot Standards Multi-Crew Cooperation (APS MCC) training.
As part of the partnership, CTS has worked closely with ASL Airlines Australia to tailor its type-rating course further, completing a standardisation programme that integrates the airline’s standard operating procedures (SOPs) into the training.
“Feedback from our trainees on the course, facilities, instructors and overall training environment has been overwhelmingly positive, with particular praise for the instructors’ professionalism, knowledge and commitment to helping every pilot succeed.” commented Captain Nathan Burkitt Head of Training and Checking, Flight Operations, ASL Australia
Patrick Davis, Vice-President and General Manager of Acron Aviation Commercial Training Solutions’ London Training Centre, welcomed ASL Airlines Australia’s decision to extend its partnership with the company and appoint it as a preferred supplier of Boeing 737 type-rating training until the end of 2028. “This agreement reflects the confidence ASL Australia has in the quality of our training, our instructors and our ability to deliver customer-focused solutions that prepare pilots for airline operations from day one.”
The partnership follows the announcement in late August that FlightSafety International (FSI) would acquire the Commercial Training Solutions business from Acron Technologies.
