Embraer has celebrated the delivery of its 2,000th E-Jet, marking a major achievement for the company. The milestone aircraft, an E195-E2, was handed over to Azul Linhas Aéreas, Brazil’s largest airline by number of destinations served.
Since entering service in 2004, the E-Jets family has helped reshape the airline industry by combining passenger comfort with operational efficiency and high levels of reliability. Over the past two decades, E-Jets have built a strong global presence, operating with more than 90 airlines in over 60 countries. The fleet has recorded approximately 48 million flight hours and carried more than 2.85 billion passengers worldwide.
