Elbe Flugzeugwerke (EFW) has redelivered the fifth and final Airbus A330-200 converted freighter to EgyptAir Cargo under its current agreement with the Egyptian carrier, the German aircraft conversion specialist said.
The delivery marks another step in a partnership between EFW and EgyptAir Cargo that dates back nearly 30 years.
The cargo airline was the launch customer for the A330-200 passenger-to-freighter (P2F) programme, with the first aircraft delivered in 2018.
With the latest delivery, EFW has redelivered nine Airbus wide-body freighters from different aircraft generations to the carrier from its facilities in Dresden, Germany, it said.
