Honeywell Aerospace said it had signed a three-year agreement with PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk to provide repair and maintenance services for auxiliary power units (APUs) across the Indonesian airline’s aircraft fleet.
The agreement covers Honeywell Aerospace’s 131-9B, 331-350 and 331-500 APU models and builds on the companies’ longstanding partnership, Honeywell said.
The arrangement is intended to give Garuda Indonesia greater predictability over repair costs and defined service expectations, supporting maintenance planning during the three-year term.
“Consistent, predictable maintenance support is critical in helping airlines plan maintenance effectively and keep their fleets operating reliably,” said Eric Ai, President of Asia Pacific at Honeywell Aerospace.
APUs provide electrical power and conditioned air when aircraft are on the ground, supporting aircraft and cabin systems during boarding and turnaround.
Honeywell Aerospace provides repair, overhaul and upgrade services for aircraft systems through a global network of 26 repair and overhaul facilities, including sites in the Asia-Pacific region, as well as more than 100 commercial air transport channel partner locations.
