ATR has appointed Leonardo Helicopters U.S. President Vittorio Lorenzo Della Bella as its new Chief Executive, effective November 1, succeeding Nathalie Tarnaud Laude, the regional aircraft maker said.
Della Bella previously served as Senior Vice President for customer support, services and training at Leonardo Helicopters, where he led a global organisation of about 2,500 employees supporting more than 4,500 helicopters and 1,300 customers.
He has held senior roles in programme management, business development, customer support and international industrial cooperation, including as managing director of NHIndustries.
ATR, a joint venture between Airbus and Leonardo, also appointed Airbus executive Patrick Bergues as Senior Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer, effective November 1.
Bergues, who will succeed Andrea Coccetti, most recently served as CFO of Airbus in the United States and CFO of Starlab Space. He has more than three decades of experience in aerospace finance, including roles in corporate finance, aircraft financing, insurance and risk management, financial analysis and business control.
Coccetti is moving to a new role within the Leonardo group, ATR said.
