Norwegian has taken delivery of the first of four B737-8 aircraft from CDB Aviation, marking the lessor’s first aircraft placement with the Scandinavian airline.
The four aircraft are covered by lease agreements signed between CDB Aviation, the Irish subsidiary of China Development Bank Financial Leasing, and Norwegian in December 2024.
“We are pleased to mark the delivery of our first Boeing 737-8 with CDB Aviation,” Norwegian Chief Executive Geir Karlsen said. “This represents another important step forward in our ongoing fleet renewal.”
Karlsen said Norwegian valued its new partnership with CDB Aviation as the airline continues to develop its fleet.
