Barnes Aerospace has acquired Scotland-based ATL Turbine Services, expanding its aerospace component repair operations into Europe and establishing its first dedicated component repair and overhaul presence in the region.
ATL Turbine Services, based in Dundee, specialises in the refurbishment and repair of hot-section gas turbine components. The acquisition adds repair, assessment, coating and engineering capabilities in Europe to Barnes Aerospace’s existing global repair network, allowing it to support customers across the turbine engine component lifecycle.
The deal follows Barnes Aerospace’s acquisition of US-based Jet AirWerks in August 2026, which expanded its commercial aero-engine inspection, repair, overhaul and disassembly capabilities in North America.
Barnes Aerospace said the two acquisitions support its strategy of developing a broader global aftermarket network and providing full-lifecycle component services closer to customers.
