Eve Air Mobility has signed a binding agreement with Brazil’s FlyBIS Aviation for up to 12 electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft, comprising two firm orders and purchase rights for a further ten.
The agreement builds on a letter of intent signed by the companies in 2022 and advances their collaboration to establish electric air mobility operations in Brazil.
FlyBIS plans to deploy Eve’s eVTOL aircraft in southern Brazil, initially connecting destinations in the states of Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul.
Potential routes include services linking coastal cities such as Navegantes, Balneário Camboriú and Florianópolis in Santa Catarina, as well as tourist destinations in the mountainous region of Rio Grande do Sul, including Gramado and Bento Gonçalves.
Eve and FlyBIS will continue working together on preparations for entry into service, covering network planning, operational readiness, infrastructure requirements and the integration of eVTOL services into the wider transport network.
