GA Telesis has successfully completed its Aircraft Fleet Recycling Association (AFRA) recertification audit, reaffirming its commitment to responsible aircraft asset management, environmental standards and sustainable recycling practices.
AFRA’s internationally recognised Best Management Practices (BMP) provide an industry framework for environmentally responsible aircraft disassembly and material recovery.
The successful audit recognises GA Telesis’ approach to quality, environmental stewardship, operational safety and oversight of contracted aircraft disassembly activities, supporting sustainable asset management throughout the aviation lifecycle.
“ Our successful AFRA recertification audit represents more than compliance; it demonstrates our ability to turn sustainability into tangible value for our customers,” said Jim Sokol, president of Flight Solutions Group at GA Telesis.
“By connecting environmental responsibility with commercial performance, we are strengthening the aviation supply chain and driving meaningful progress towards a circular economy,” he added.
GA Telesis also acknowledged Ascent Aviation Services, its contracted aircraft disassembly partner, for its collaboration and support throughout the audit process.
