Hawaiian Airlines reported August traffic increased 1.9%, while capacity for the month increased 3.9% compared to the same period in 2014. The load factor was slightly down, 1.6 points, to 83.2%.
Virgin America reported its preliminary operational results for August 2015. The airline’s traffic increased 1.5% on capacity that was 4.0% higher from the same month in 2014. Load factor was 83.6%, a decrease of 2.0 points from August 2014.
International Airlines Group (IAG) reported that Group traffic in August increased by 8.6% versus August 2014, while Group capacity rose by 6.1%. The load factor for the month was up 1.9 points to 86.6%.
UAL’s August 2015 consolidated traffic increased 1.5% and consolidated capacity increased 2.3% versus August 2014. UAL’s August 2015 consolidated load factor decreased 0.7 points compared to August 2014, to 86.6%.
American Airlines Group’s total traffic was up 5.0% versus August 2014 and total capacity was up 2.7% versus August 2014. Total passenger load factor was 86.5%, up 1.9 points versus August 2014.
