AWAS delivers Boeing 747-400ERF to Southern Air

Dublin based aircraft lessor, AWAS, has delivered a Boeing 747-400 factory freighter (ERF) with extended range capability to new customer Southern Air. The aircraft is part of AWAS’ existing fleet. The 747-400ERF offers superior payload-range capability compared to standard 747-400Fs. In addition, its main deck nose door allows for the loading of outsized items such as vehicles, helicopters, and construction materials, further enhancing its performance capabilities.
