Bombardier has successfully closed its issuance of US$2bn aggregate principal amount of new Senior Notes. The issuance is comprised of US$750m aggregate principal amount of Bombardier’s Senior Notes due 2016, which carry a coupon of 4.250% per annum and were sold at par (the “2016 Notes”), and US$1.25bn aggregate principal amount of Bombardier’s Senior Notes due 2023, which carry a coupon of 6.125% per annum and were sold at par (the “2023 Notes”). The 2016 Notes have a maturity date of January 15, 2016, and the 2023 Notes have a maturity date of January 15, 2023. Bombardier intends to use the net proceeds of this offering for general corporate purposes.
