United Continental Holdings reported full-year 2012 net income of $589m excluding $1.3bn of special charges. Including special charges, UAL reported a full-year 2012 net loss of $723m. UAL reported a fourth-quarter 2012 net loss of $190m excluding $430m of special charges. Including special charges, UAL reported a fourth-quarter 2012 net loss of $620m. UAL ended 2012 with $7.0bn in unrestricted liquidity.
