Bombardier extends Q400 Smart Parts agreement with Japan Air Commuter

Bombardier Aerospace has signed a comprehensive, five-year agreement with Japan Air Commuter to renew its Smart Parts program coverage for the Japanese regional carrier’s 11 Q400 turboprops. The program renewal is customized to the airline’s specific operational and performance needs and will continue to provide Japan Air Commuter with competitive and predictable repair costs for key components for its Q400 turboprop fleet through April of 2018. With the Smart Parts extension, Bombardier will continue to provide scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, tailored to meet Japan Air Commuter’s specific requirements on a broad range of components and will provide around-the-clock repair management services to ensure maximized aircraft availability.
