Icelandair and Porter Airlines have signed an interline agreement that will benefit passengers connecting between North America and more than 20 Icelandair destinations throughout Europe. “Canada is a growing market for Icelandair with many exciting opportunities on the horizon. The agreement with Porter Airlines will allow us to offer our passengers even more connections and flexibility throughout Canada,” said Thorsteinn Egilsson, Icelandair General Manager – The Americas. Earlier this year, Icelandair expanded its seasonal service from Toronto-Pearson to a year-round operation with plans to increase capacity next summer. Icelandair also resumed seasonal service from Halifax with up to three flights a week.
