AEI commences third MD-80SF Freighter Conversion for Aeronaves

Aeronautical Engineers reported that the third MD-80SF freighter conversion for Aeronaves T.S.M. (TSM) has commenced modification at Commercial Jet’s Miami, Florida facility, which is one of five authorized AEI Conversion Centers worldwide. The MD-83 variant aircraft (MSN 49558) will be the third MD-80SF conversion for TSM. TSM currently operates two AEI MD-80SF freighters. After this conversion, AEI will have delivered six MD-80SFs to various customers with TSM representing the largest overall operator of AEI’s MD-80SF freighters.
