Jazz dispatchers ratify labour agreement

Jazz Aviation, a subsidiary of Chorus Aviation released that its dispatchers, represented by the Canadian Air Line Dispatchers Association (‘CALDA’), have ratified their tentative agreement reached on May 27th, 2015. The term of the agreement is just under 11 years; expiring on December 31st, 2025. CALDA represents 62 dispatchers employed at Jazz. The term of the dispatcher agreement is consistent with the term of Jazz’s amended capacity purchase agreement with Air Canada announced January 13th, 2015. The new collective agreement provides long-term labour stability, productivity enhancements and cost control measures.
